Building a Solar-Powered Catamaran

I built a solar-powered catamaran using glass-fiber laminate for a watertight hull. I faced challenges with the mold and had to destroy it to free the hull. I also added water jet pumps, wooden ribs, and aluminum parts sponsored by PCBWay. Finishing touches included a 3D-printed deck, painting the hulls, and using a frame to connect them. The boat is powered by a 100-watt solar panel.

I recently came across your Solar-Powered Catamaran build on YouTube, and I was really impressed with the design and engineering behind the project.

I am interested in building a similar catamaran using 3D printing for a personal project. I would like to ask if you could kindly share the 3D-printable STL/3MF files or the CAD files for the catamaran, if they are available.

I completely understand if the files are not freely available. If you sell or provide them through a platform, please let me know where I can obtain them.

Your project would be a great reference for my own build, and I would be very grateful for any guidance or files you can share.

Thank you for your time and for sharing such inspiring model-making projects.

Thank you very much for your kind words and your interest in the project!

I will have a look and see what files I can share. However, it is not really a 3D-printed model. The construction is mainly based on frames/bulkheads (spants) and fiberglass, so there are not many 3D-printable STL/3MF files available.

I’ll check what CAD files and other useful material I still have and see what I can share with you.
