This medieval dagger is easy to print and assemble—it doesn’t need any support or glue! It works with Prusa and Ender 3 printers. I printed it using gold and multicolor silk PLA.
Printing Tips: – For the blades, go with a layer height of 0.1 mm and 100% infill. – The handle has an incredibly fuzzy skin texture, and you can quickly round off the blade tip with a nail clipper or file for safety. It’s designed for a 256 mm Bambu build plate, but alternate blades with a dovetail cut can fit if you have a smaller printer like the Prusa Mini or Ender 3. Remember that you might need to trim the dovetails for a good fit.
How to Assemble:
- Put the two blade pieces together, ensuring the locator pin fits in the slot.
- Slide on the guard, handle, and pommel; the pommel will click in.
- Tap the pommel pin with a hammer to lock everything tight.
Heads up: Once that pommel pin is in, taking the medieval dagger apart will be tough!
