Giant Dart

As I sat down to watch the PDC Dart Championship 2025, I wanted to bring some excitement into my own space. The tournament’s energy, the player’s skill, and the crowd’s intensity inspired me to create something fun and unique to match the atmosphere. That’s when the idea struck me: what if I crafted a giant dart as a decoration?

Being a fan of DIY projects, I decided to take on the challenge. I started by researching the actual dimensions of a regulation dart to ensure my creation would look authentic. Using these dimensions as a reference, I designed the dart and scaled it up by 4.5 times its original size. The process was meticulous—I wanted to preserve the proportions of every component, from the slender barrel to the iconic flights.

Once the design was complete, I printed the pieces on my BambuLab X1C 3D printers, carefully choosing materials like silver PLA to highlight the intricate details. Watching the components take shape was almost as thrilling as the championship itself. When all the parts were ready, I assembled them into a striking giant dart that now stands as a centerpiece on the terrace—a tribute to my love for the sport and the creative spark it ignites in me.
