Tyranitar Pokémon - The Bavarian Model Maker

Tyrantitar is a powerful dual-type Rock/Dark Pokémon known for its imposing appearance and formidable stats. It evolves from Pupitar and is the final form of Larvitar. With its high Attack and Defense stats and Sand Stream ability, which summons a sandstorm upon entering battle, Tyrantitar is a popular choice in competitive battles. Its Mega Evolution, introduced in later generations, further boosts its offensive capabilities and grants it the Tough Claws ability, enhancing the power of its physical moves.

One of my viewers sponsored the files for this model. He wanted to see Tyranitar 3D-printed and bought the files. I had to split up the model to fit on my Bambu Lab X1C and reduce overhangs. I used my AMS to print in multiple colors but found a problem while printing the upper torso. I needed five colors, but one AMS only holds up to four spools. However, because of the part’s coloring, I could pause the print and swap out one spool, which was no longer needed after a certain height. Gluing together all the parts finished up this build.
