A 3D-printed marble run is a captivating kinetic sculpture created using additive manufacturing technology. This intricate device comprises various 3D-printed components, such as gears, ramps, and channels, meticulously designed to guide a marble through a mesmerizing and dynamic journey. The machine relies on gravity, momentum, and clever engineering to transport the marble along a predetermined path.
Bambu Labs designed this model as part of their Hardware Kits Series. The Kit consists of ten plastic marbles and a USB-powered geared motor. The remaining parts must be printed by yourself, which took Quid some time—but assembling made up for this because all pieces are screwed together and require no glue.
