Super Mario

Super Mario is a fictional character and the iconic mascot of Nintendo, created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. Mario first appeared in the arcade game “Donkey Kong” in 1981 and later starred in his own series of platform games, starting with “Super Mario Bros.” in 1985. Mario is known for his distinctive red plumber’s outfit, mustache, and his adventures to rescue Princess Peach from the villainous Bowser in the Mushroom Kingdom. The Super Mario series has become one of the most successful and enduring franchises in the history of video games, contributing significantly to the gaming industry’s popularity and cultural impact.

Printing all required parts was easy using PLA, and no supports were needed. But while assembling, I ran out of my special plastic glue and switched to a less sticky alternative, which demanded a lot of tape to keep all parts together until they were dried. The large tolerance of some elements also didn’t help with building. But in the end, I was pleased with how Mario went out, and I will build Luigi, too.
